Winter GX200 Championship — Register Your Interest

Six rounds. Real Honda GX200 kart racing, recreated on Assetto Corsa. One championship winner.

🏆 FINISH FIRST IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP AND WIN A FREE TEST DAY IN THE GENE KART AT BAYFORD MEADOWS!

Our top eligible championship driver will get to drive Gene's actual Honda GX200 race kart at Bayford Meadows — not a simulator, but the real kart on the real circuit.

The test-day prize is subject to venue approval, safety rules and winner eligibility. If Gene wins the championship himself, he will not claim the physical prizes; they pass to the highest-ranked eligible community driver.

I'm launching the first Gene Racing League Winter GX200 Championship on Assetto Corsa for PC, with realistic GX200 karts, a custom-branded version of Bayford Meadows (subject to final arrangements with its creator), live race broadcasts, commentary, championship standings and prizes.

When: Six meetings, planned fortnightly between January and March 2027.
Entry price: Proposed £10 one-time fee for the whole championship — not per round.

The £10 fee is designed to cover essential running costs, including server hosting and licensing the Bayford Meadows circuit directly from its creator. This first championship is not intended to make a profit. Final licensing terms and the entry price are subject to confirmation.

🏎️ Race format

  • 30-minute practice session and 15-minute qualifying session each round
  • Heat 1: 10 laps; Heat 2: 10 laps; Final: 15 laps
  • Championship points at every race, with each driver's lowest-scoring full round dropped
  • Equal-performance GX200 karts, stewarding, livestream coverage and championship standings
  • Limited places, allocated first come first served when paid registration opens to everyone

🖥️ What you need

  • A PC running the original Assetto Corsa — this championship is not available on Xbox or PlayStation
  • A compatible racing steering wheel and pedals — wheel-only racing, no controller or keyboard entries
  • The authorized kart and track mods; beginner-friendly setup instructions for Assetto Corsa, Content Manager and mods will be available in our Discord

🏆 Championship prizes

🥇 1st place: FREE test day driving the Gene Kart at Bayford Meadows, a custom Gene 3D-printed winner's trophy, a Gene T-shirt, Gene stickers and Project Revolution racing gloves.

🥈 2nd place: Gene 3D-printed trophy and Gene stickers.

🥉 3rd place: Gene 3D-printed trophy and Gene stickers.

All podium trophies will be made by Gene and shipped to the prize winners. One Custom is considering an additional first-place prize, but this has not yet been confirmed. Any physical-prize roll-down if Gene finishes on the podium will be stated in the official regulations.
